Exp grinding

Why is this so frowned upon? Why can players not choose how they want to level? The exp nerf in the Foundry is so bad, it doesn't even seem worth it anymore. So they force people to either spend real money on respecs, or leveling up a bunch of alts to have a few capable of doing PvE and PvP, and on top of that, they nerf alternatives to leveling up. Is it REALLY that big of a deal if players want to grind certain levels?

    The change was mostly just for exploit quests that put enemies in a pit where ranged characters could kill them without taking damage.
    Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

    Even then I can understand the sentiment. If I was a big PvP buff (which I'm not considering the current state of PvP in neverwinter) I'd like to be able to get to level 60 in an hour and go straight to PvP. Sure I'm missing all the lovely content but I may not WANT to go through the lovely content for 6 different characters.
