I think a way to improve both of these is the user of timers.
Kits
Allow Foundry builders to place 'kit points' lets say no more than 5, each kit point is automatically assigned a number based on when it was placed, and you cannot place more than 5.
Kits only show up after every 5 minutes of play to prevent it from being farmed. Meaning to get all 5 kits, you need to be in the quest for 25 minutes.
End Chest
The reward in the end chest should also be based on how long the player has been in the quest. The reward should get better the longer they have been in the quest for. And the chest should always and only be class specific.
0-5 Min - Grey Junk
5-10 Min - Common Item
10-30 Min - Green Item
30-60 Min - Green Item with 1 socket
1hr - 2hr - Blue Item
2hr + - Purple Item.
Now the times and the items are just suggestions and should be re-worked by people who know a lot more than me.
The general point is trying to make foundry quests more inline with the rest of the game so they get played.
Thorin Oakenshield - 60 DC | Floki Longarm - 60 TR | Tiny Tank - 60 GWF

I agree, to a certain extent. I do not think a Purple should be a chest reward. I believe, that in addition to a chest reward players should get a token (if the quest took x amount of time + other variables). Once they collect enough of these they can then convert into a more powerful item.
The problem is that the Foundry quests are too exploitable and too challenging to monitor. Someone could just sit in the room for 2 hours and collect a purple. For that matter, the token I mentioned. Most likely, a script would need to be written that looks at time, challenge, as well as some other variables that I am not even thinking of at this minute. Additionally, even though I only have about 20 plays on my quests, there should be a threshold of at least 100-200 reviews before any of this as the quest needs to be proven out and not just anyone slapping something together for just themselves to get a reward.
