Soulforge enchant and PVP

Ok since yesterday we can all widely test this out. My char also has this enchant. And I can say: I don't like it at all in PVP. You always have to stand next to someone whom you killed to check if he rezzes again only to beat him again for some time to kill him a second time.

Basically Soulforge is a free additional hitpoint pool on top of what you already have.

I have seen both extreme situations:

1. You or someone else dies in the middle of enemies and is killed right again after that without any chance. At least this only counts as 1 kill in the final score.

2. You kill someone, he rezzes and 5 seconds later (due to the fact that you couldn't kill him right away again) has already half his hitpoints again and is back in battle.

The worst thing really is that you can't finish someone off, and run fast to another fight or to a node. No, you have to wait, check if he rezzes and if so beat him again until he is dead. In PVE this comes handy though.

    Still a lot better than the old SF though. I'd rather have to kill someone again from low health than deal with an invincible player.

    Soulforged is pretty useless now.
    I had tested it on preview a short while before the new patch was applied and I was like - "Wow, ppl are going to be pissed...".

    Now soulforged is no longer a life saver. You die, resurrect immediately, still have all the aggro on you and you just get a couple of thousands of hp to get along.
    I felt really bad for the luskans I killed in GG pvp after they returned to their "second life".
    It's as if they lost their powers...

    Soulforged should be bad for dungeons too if you die there too without losing aggro or if you get into a chain of boss AOES and are resurrected immediately only to die quickly after.
    Either way - life saver it isn't any longer, and I predict its removal from most of the future build guides.

    My advice - unless you want a bigger HP pool, go for another enchantment.

    The best enchantment for armor is barkshield i know its look ugly but powerful :p

    The Phoera companion is pretty nice together with Soulforged now, isn't it? +1000 regeneration and power 10 seconds on resurrection.
    And the Angel of Protection (On Resurrection: You are shielded for 10% of your total Hit Points).

    Companions do not work in PvP. Few if any care about what happens in PvE and how OP certain combinations are (although there were enough to ask for HV nerfs for example just because... whatever... just because).

    Soulforge is only good if you fight someone that already is almost dead but he kills you first, then you come back to life and kill him in return and if he does not have Soulforge that's it. On my DC I hardly 1 on 1 so if I die I die to many players and at the moment I am sometimes saved by Soulforged because players haven't adapted yet to the new effect and think if I am dead they can target someone else. But people start to learn now and just stand next to you. So the moment you stand up you are badly hit right again. Won't make much different then.

    I noticed this yesterday too. The first time I encountered someone with SF I was like "wtf...oh yeah...SF." After that it was just "yay +2 kills."

    I'm sure this is nice in PVE, but as stated above, this was only helpful to me in PVP and not the CW that was using it. That being said, I've yet to get into PVP on my own CW who has had a lesser SF for some time now, so I don't know what its like from the other side.

    It's decent in GWFs and for everyone if they have the epic PvP artifact. Everyone else can go to Barkshield or Negation.

    U keep your unstopable metter when sf procs. So then ur back up to 50% or more

    Yeah, I'd say the new SF is good main for GWFs or GFs. All other classes got hosed with the change.

    from a cleric perspective, I'm happy...
    instead of sf i get an immunity bubble for 2 sec every 15 seconds so I'm not too upset... also, now when i got shocking'd I don't have to worry about it "going through my sf" instead I just rez, put bubble on, and heal to full hp:)

    Agreed on sephine's cleric perspective. Great synergy w/ exaltation, higher regen, and the blood skull artifact.
