Nub Thaum here, some questions on Feats

Hi guys,
I took advantage of this weekends event to create another alt this time a cw, and managed to level him to 45 and all.
Ive sort of been reading that thaumaturges are the best dps spec, i sort of know the renegade as my gf is one, so i went in that direction. And i need some advice, specially in the feating.
Basically what would be the best dps feats, while still having decent control, Should i go full dps feats (arcane,cold,aoe,int) and just rely on recovery for cd management and ap considering entanglings nerf in a few days?
So what would be the recomended feating?
PS: is the new paragon path good? meaning at least as good ?
