Wish list for Mod 2 pack

yyrkoonstyphoonyyrkoonstyphoon Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 231 Arc User
I have been waiting for the announcement that mod 2 is going live soon, but in true Cryptic fashion, I expect that there will be the announcement of the Mod 2 special pack first.

So, since I have consistently purchased a pack each time, I was thinking I would start a thread for a wish list of what I would like to see in a pack. The idea behind this pack is it is tailored to people that have already purchased a pack or 3.

1) toon slots - everyone is wanting a new slot for a ranger.

2) Companion upgrade(s) - I already have a few purple companions, not thinking I need yet another one, but to upgrade my pig would be awesome.

3) Mount upgrade(s) - I already have a few purple mounts, not thinking I need yet another one, but to upgrade my pig would be very nice.

4) Several of the catalysts/reagents that will be used in the new enhancement system. 1 purple, a few blues and some greens to get us started.

And, unless you add a tab for fashion items and such, please, please please, no more fashion items. I leave them in the gift boxes in my bank, well the fey clothes I tossed because I can get them if I ever need them from the 'Pack Vendor'. There has been no word about adding the Mount/Fashion tab that has been requested, so i figure that is going to come at a later date.

What would you like to see in the Mod 2 special pack we all know is coming (just in tome for the Holidays)

While that would be ne a good thing I seriously doubt that they will include something that it's in the Zen Store.
    2) Companion upgrade(s) - I already have a few purple companions, not thinking I need yet another one, but to upgrade my pig would be awesome.

Nah... don't think they will provide that either, since it is not a token you can save to use it later. I'd like to see the upgrade prices cut in half, since now we'll have to upgrade all companions.
    3) Mount upgrade(s) - I already have a few purple mounts, not thinking I need yet another one, but to upgrade my pig would be very nice.

DENIED! big time! I want a new mount, to all my characters and not a single upgrade to only ONE mount to ONE character. Since I got all packs and already got an additional 4 character slots in the Zen store, I don't wanna upgrade just ONE. Although, just like everything else in this game that has an Astral Diamond price set by Cryptic, the costs are ridiculously high. So high that it is cheaper to convert you AD to ZEn and then get an account-wide mount than having just one upgraded.
    4) Several of the catalysts/reagents that will be used in the new enhancement system. 1 purple, a few blues and some greens to get us started.
ROTFL... Yeah... right... they will give them in a pack... You're killing me here.

You don't have to store all fashion items, just the ones you wanna keep. by giving you a "TAB" just for it, players will no longer buy extra bank space from the store. I'd like to see a Mount storage Tab tho.

A mount, a companion and an enchantment, all purple quality and account-wise.

One last note, what's with the fixation in pigs?!? Not enough bacon in your diet?

I never said anything about not being account wide. My purple companions form the previous packs are account wide. My purple mounts from the previous packs are account wide as well.

If you use bank space to store fashion items that come from packs, you need to understand the 'reclaim' feature I mentioned. unless you have applied dye to it (and often you will have stacks of the dyes from the events as well) there is no loss to toss it and reclaim it when you want to use it. The tab is merely a convenience thing.

The pigs are simply because of the summer event, where i have several I have earned on different toons, but have gone back to my purples.

Maybe these are ridiculous, but does it cost more to upgrade a mount or companion than it does to acquire a purple grade mount or companion? if this is the case, then your comments hold merit. if not , then this should be viewed as a decent alternative. There are normally multiple packs, so maybe an 'upgrade' version of a pack would be a potential revenue stream.

Once you get your toon equipped with lvl 10 enchants and perfect shards....you can then afford to upgrade your mounts and companions. Until then the green companions can still give nice bonuses.

    Wish List:
    • A nice unique looking transmutation Bow and Blade
    • A nice Ranger Fashion outfit
    • A pack of dark green dyes

I think all your ideas are terrible. So here are mine.

Showroom for gear: so you know what stuff looks like before you buy it

Epic loot from the new dungeon: and not just seals

Guild tabards: good reasons; cover up unwanted enchants, every guild has their own "look"

Reputation / small chance of random BoE epics for killing trash: so reward will stop people skipping everything

Seals in seal inventory to stack up to 999: self explained

Feedbacks from Devs / Leaders whatever on when things will be released: They should really know stuff like this before the last day.

Those are not ideas for items to include in a purchased pack.

Not Module 2 wishlist. Module 2 pack wishlist.

[Sarcasm mode: on]Really? can I reclaim them whenever I want?[Sarcasm mode: off]
There are a lot of cosmetics that cannot be reclaimed, like events rewards and those were the ones I was referring to. I've discardec my moonsilver regalia clothes and my unicorn more time than I can remember.

Yes, it does. a LOT more.

Once again, (companion) upgrades are something that are now being incited and therefore I don't think we'll see this bundled in a pack.
