Proxy selection in Launcher options

I just recently accidentally switched to use EU-proxy from the options while I've always have had the none-option. I can't switch it back to being none. Also what is this used anyway? Is this going to have an impact on my gameplay? (there is two proxy selections, one for patching and one for game. The game one is the one I switched) Haven't tried logging in yet, but I would like more info on this. Do I have to uninstall to fix this setting back to how it was?

    I'm a little curious about this "US-proxy/EU-proxy" option myself. What does it do???

    I'm having the same issue. The luncher saves only the option for US or EU gameplay proxy, but it can't be set to None.
    Please can you fix the gameplay proxy luncher option, because usually the proxies are unstable.
