Divine Emissary Build for PVE Solo and T1/T2

This one is for Klixan, who posted a request for a Cleric Build that went PVE Solo. I did so with this one (in regards to it's Feats) although it was build specifically for the armor set she wears now.

I was never in love with the name Miracle Healer even before prices were rock bottom. ;)

And it's build for Clerics who have a deep love for people who will not dodge. Sigh. And who like to PUG.

There are a lot of similarities with for instance mewbery's build (putting a point into Rising Hope) and the other posted Linked Spirit build. I never stacked much when I was leveling beyond Recovery (I love Respite) and only rarely Critical (if I could get a nice piece of Youth armor). I soloed everything except Whispering Part 2, which I did with a few others in Zone. I honestly didn't see anyone in there soloing.. it might be possible but it would be unamusing.

I designed it slowly as I was leveling, with an eye to keeping squishy things unsquished, and it's influenced a great deal from my other 60 CW. The other thing it was inspired by was enchantment fusing, especially with Protection Wards. I became leery of depending on things that require a certain % chance to even occur.

While I leveled, before Astral Shield, my powers were largely Sunburst, FF and Chains. Toss away or hold down, pick off the weakest mob, rinse and repeat. And I highly recommend a good Striker pet with lifesteal gear as even before agro was fixed they would give you breathing space.

The other thing you can't see is that I have 773 points in Lifesteal and 660 in Movement. It's my own counter to Righteousness, considering how often I Sunburst.

I have Damage Resistance at 35%, Recharge Speed of 40%, Action Point gain at 54%, and Critical Chance at 30%, Critical Severity 75%.

I did not respect her after the update that altered Cleanse and nerfed Astral Shield. I still remember fondly my first T1 that day with a group where none had read the updates. Hilarious.

For Class Powers: Divine Fortune and Holy Fervor

For Dailies, I spam Hallowed Ground. I keep Hammer in a slot for when the add doesn't clear after the boss is dead. I figure I get a chance to cut loose once and a while. When I soloed, I ran Guardian of Faith to save other people in Zone and Flame Strike when I did dungeons.

As for Epics, I've cleared every Dungeon except Grey Wolf and Dread Vault, neither of which I've tried (my regular groups don't run them).

I have run several Epics with other healers in Miracle Healer and comparable GS and out healed them all. Only one was specifically a PvP build (she did not have Moontouched). I have Astral Shield down to 14.1 seconds. The only gearing I have left to do would be the Icon slot on my Stone, which is still Level 22.

And what you dont give your group is Benefit of Foresight, which makes for whoppy 11% Damageresistence. The numbers that those other clerics mitigated do not show up at the end of a dungeon, you know? :) Plus: with another healer in the, I personally switch to Sunburst/Daunting(Searing if the CW like to collect many mobs)/Chains, you would outheal me too, still i would give the Group that Damage Redux from Benefit plus the bonus Heal from invigorating and still succeed. A Miracle Cleric prolly could heal a group through any t2 dungeon only using Sunburst when specced right. The thing about cleric IMO (!) is to mitigate, and not to let as much damage hit my group and heal it to get high numbers in the end :)

But your build surely is perfectly viable (as is nearly every build in the moment... just try, you will see).

Edit: i am still puzzled about gearscore. I am wearing two different t2 Sets for for the duoble +450 bonus, and got Rank 5 Enchantments socketed... I barely reach 11k witch that (10.7 to be specific). Do higher enchants make so much difference? Or am I missing out on a 4 piece, that somehow adds more? Just curious... really, cause after all it is just a stupid number, and redundant once you match CN req.

As far as Foresight goes, I decided not to put all my eggs in one basket. I'm sure you've experienced the fun of the horde fearlessly flying on ahead and hurling themselves into mobs while you are... Plodding... Plodding... Getting there maybe tomorrow. I opted for a balance of damage mitigation and healing, for a bit more flexibility. And it also lets me give Linked Spirit to the group, even really good TR or CW that manage to take almost no damage in the first place.

I disagree that all Cleric builds are viable in T2 dungeons. On my CW I have met a couple of PvP builds that could DPS but could not heal. Painful and expensive. As for the tests against MH, they were intentionally that... a couple of friendly heal-upman-ships. I wouldn't test myself against a Vorpal perhaps.

Anyway, I began this build as an alternative to the expense and unpredictability of MH. It's fun and fast, heals and buffs, and Circe's my favorite character at the moment.

As far as GS goes, two things I've noticed that did not boost me up were movement and life steal. Cutting out enchantments for the utility slots, and going with seal earned necklaces and rings instead of hunting down the ones I chose, cuts the cost of this build by about 1/3. If you splurged on anything, I would recommend building up Recovery and Defense.
