Please don't take this as a complaint or flame post. I am honestly struggling.
I have only been playing a few weeks now, and hit 60 on my CW about 4 days ago. I've only tried a dozen or so foundry quests, but they all crush me into dust. They claim to be "easy" to "moderate". I don't consider wave after wave after wave of mobs easy, or spawning boss after boss after boss in the same fight. To put it simply, it's costing me too much in injury kits and healing potions to even try foundry quests. If I was a fighter, I could probably solo these, but as a mage, after you pop your daily on the first wave or boss, the 2nd or 3rd wave is guaranteed death.
I do pvp every day, and got the full pvp gear, plus other upgrades, so I know how to play my CW reasonably well. We mages run alot! My gear score is 9k. I have a rank 15 man-at-arms. I'm not uber, but not newb either.
There are others in my guild that stopped playing foundry too at level 60. It's just too hard to solo.
Please don't take this as a complaint or flame. I actually think the whole concept of users writing mods is very cool, and I appreciate the effort all of you have done. I'm just frustrated the level 60 foundry quests are just too hard to solo. I'm not looking for cheat modules where it's super easy. I just want a fair fight.
Has anyone else had this problem as a 60 CW?
Thanks for reading, and I appreciate all constructive feedback from foundry authors!
There is a line of quests named Easy Quest. Their author made them easy on purpose, for daily foundries. My Witch Hunt also has difficulty toned down for the same purpose, to make it profitable to play as a daily.

Are you after AD or just fun? People don't usually farm foundry quests given that the AD to time ratio can be so poor, and there are no chests or bonus loot from skill checks.
Found some horrible quests today. If I see one more savage ogre, I think I'll snap.

The one I'm testing now (in my sig) can be completed with no fighting at all if you're clever. (edit: actually, I think 1 standard fight is required).
That doesn't mean there's no fighting in it... all 50 encounters are used (although a dozen of them are never seen).
NW-DQF4T7QYH - I have spent a ton of time making sure it was balanced.
Do you crave a good old fashioned dungeon crawl? One where the dungeon tells it's own story? The Dungeon Delves campaign is just for you! Start with my first release: NW-DQF4T7QYH Any cave can lead to adventure!
The Green Zone (NW-DP66H66F6): Train at a top-secret Goblin military installation. Hive Mind (NW-DN9YKEVUS): Get inside a crashed alien ship to discover its purpose. Absolute Zero (NW-DOVUXHT8P): Activate a massive teleportation machine to pursue an evil mastermind.
Problem with balancing figts in NW is not only lack of balance between classes, but also how badly PvE scales with level. Either your quest is too easy on certain levels, or too tiresome at 60. Or both.
You can use difficulty slider but even then, what is an easy encounter for certain classes will be hard, tiresome, or simply unprofitable for others.
I really wish if this game had normal challenge rating and mobs exactly like in PnP books.
Try this one: NW-DEV9KF4R7
Mostly riddles and light combat.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] The entire campaign can be found here:NWS-DQS27OINC
Individual quests:
1. Heeding the Call - NW-DMJCDZ5XJ
2. Bored of the Rings - NW-DFWE3XR6W
3. Draconian Ways - NW-DUNZEJG2J
4. When All is Said and Done... - Look at the picture

...
My quest is easy. It has exactly 6 easy encounters and 4 standard encounters total, spread out so you are only fighting one encounter at a time. It's more about exploration, and an introduction to my characters and setting for use in other quests later on. I solo it with my level 60 Cleric. It sounds like you have way better gear than me, so it should be even easier for you.
Description:
Help the farmers at Kolde Acres get ready for the Neverwinter Farmers' Faire. There are some chores that need to be done around the farm, and something has been killing their chickens. There are wide open spaces and lots of woods to explore... never know what you might discover off the path.
Points:
-Story and task based, minimal combat.
-Easy, solo, relaxed.
-Several extra things to find, explore to the farthest reaches. (Mail me for list or hints.)
-This is an introduction to the characters and setting for other KA quests. Talk to Timothe to learn more.
-Travel to Kolde Acres from any city gate.
Bugs:
-The wooden bucket sometimes does not appear or sparkle, but you can still interact with it.
-No marked trail, but all points and areas will show on your map.
-Selune's Tears are not used in this story, they sparkle by default.

I can solo my quest, yet I have been told it is incredibly hard.
Seems to me the question is entirely subjective. Kinda like asking if there are any motorcycles that can jump over the grand canyon. Sure, there are people who can jump over the grand canyon on lots of different motorcycles. And yet if you try to jump over the grand canyon on any motorcycle, you are 'prolly going to die a horrible death.
My point? If you don't mind dying a horrible death you can try my quest.

Im a CW too, and i can solo all of them. you must be using a bad selection of spells. all you need is control. entangling force, chilling strike (tabbed), sheild and steal time. is what i use. but repel is probably just as viable. kill the weak ones first, if theres 2 big ones. just entangling force one, and use your chilling strike and nuke down the other, teleport and kite if you need too. repel or sheild/steal time. if they get close.
As a control wizard you can solo the graveyard shift foundry too, which gives alot of XP (if you leveling a pet)

As it is for now, there is no perfect solution.
The hardest fight is avoidable if you are very clever.
And, yeah, lots of folks seem to take 'creative freedom' to mean 'grueling boss battles and waves of enemies.'
Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?
Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?
Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?
Mostly riddles and light combat.
