Extremely slow patching speed

I have been trying to patch the game since last night after the maintenance.
At first I was trying it with no on-demand patching
The speed was about 2kb/s, it was taking forever and it would not go past 2%, after an hour I quit. Tried again with on demand patching enabled, and force verify. After force verify it went to patching just a measly 128MB, but again it was going at a crawl.
Ran several tests on my hardware, cleared dns, made sure firewall ports where open and that the launcher was in the exceptions list for my firewall/av.
My network tests shows no problems with my connection, everything working perfectly, speed test 12.35 Mb/s download 1.2 Mb/s upload.
Tried to patch again, now its even slower, it has patched 243Kb out of 123MB in 20 minutes.
I am tired of waiting, been waiting long hours, wasting my time. If there is an error with the connection from the patch servers to Puerto Rico someone let me know. I am going to miss my celestial coins too.
Note: I have checked the sticky posts related to downloading/patching problems. Nothing there is useful. I have the same problems with all Cryptic games too. It began a month ago and all it has done is get worse.
