Some very wrong informed US-Player postet here:

http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?264441-Paypal-will-not-refund-you/page2

his very wrong opinion on the refund procedure of PayPal. It has been closed by PW forum
moderator with a false statement.

To correct this here the truth:

1. Fact is that for all EU-Players the right exists to claim refund within the timeframe of 14 days
after purchase of any good.

2. The contract between EU-Player and PerfectWorld is with the subsiduary in the Netherlands.
Again this is per EU-law mandatory. Adress here:

Perfect World Europe B.V.
Atlas Arena, Africa Building
Hoogoorddreef 9, 5th floor
1101 BA Amsterdam, The Netherlands

3. PayPal in Europe also needs to comply with EU-Laws while serving EU-Customers.
PayPal has to comply with any refund-request received within 14 days of purchase.

If you are capable of understanding German, please see here PerfectWorld Terms and Conditions
for Europe:

http://de.perfectworld.eu/about/terms

Thank you very much for your Attention.

P.S.: Falcon1, the fact that PerfectWorld or PayPal are US-Based companies has no effect here in Europe
whatsoever. If companies want to do Business in the EU, they need to comply with EU laws like any other
Company.

    Again here
    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?265032-Two-Words-Charge-Back/page2

The information posted maybe true for US, it is not valid for EU.

However, notice to PW is required. E-Mail or fax is sufficient.

You may contact support to request a refund.

    Support Ticket System
    E-mail: customersupport@perfectworld.com

You may not call your card company to charge back or contest a charge without first contacting support.
This can be considered fraudulent and can result in punishments enacted from both the card company and selling company.

I didn't say you may not request a refund. You simply may not post it without first contacting the company's support team as you are, in fact, causing more issues than necessary. Charge backs and contesting charges is not meant to replace asking a company to refund a charge.

    I hope this clarifies everything.
