The mystery of the missing quest (BUG)

This is a new bug for me, maybe someone out there has a solution or workaround.

My quest takes you first to Moonstone Mask, then to a house in PE, then to a map in the mountains, then a cave, then back to PE and Moonstone Mask. Everything is perfect until it takes you back to PE, where the quest just vanishes from your quest journal !

I tested my quest many times and this didn't happen in the Foundry test thingy. The quest worked fine until I published it.

I don't know if it's related, but it's the only different thing from my other quest that I can think of : I use a quest item (a cristal) that you pick up, and then give to someone. The caracter won't take, because the Foundry hasn't implemented removing quest items by dialogs yet. So, you wind up at PE, with no more info in the journal, but the quest item is still in you inventory. I added "return this to moonstone mask" on the item, as sort of a hotfix that is pretty much the equivalent to putting duck tape on a knife wound. So it gives you an indication, but I don't think many players will think to read the item's description, rather than just toss it. (Although I don't think you can toss a quest item).

Anyone know a better workaround ?

I don't understand. Avoid using Cryptic maps ? I might as well avoid the Foundry altogether.
I have no links to PE.

This bug can happen anytime you get routed through a live Cryptic map in your quest. Your quest description has your quest routing through the PE twice.
