Wayward Ruins

You overhear people talking about a young woman that recently arrived in town. You want to know more and start to ask questions. You hear a horrific tale of survival and death. You feel sadness for this single survivor and decide to seek her out.

Travel to the survivor and hear her tale.
Battle the evil undead and seek her revenge!

My first adventure with the Foundry. All feedback is welcome.


To find the quest:
When inside the foundry, search for NW-DMBDJAWAV

    There is a lot of default options for the "Press F to...". That needs to change, having default interaction text is a sign of lack of attention to detail. Press F to Exit on the door from the PE was particularly jarring, it should say something like "Press F to go to meet with the widow" or similar. One placeable still had the default Foundry item name which included a number. The maps are plain.

    The quest is a basic 'monsters kill my family, take revenge'. Nothing inherently wrong with that, it will appeal to some people.

    I think the quest needs more polishing.

    Thanks for the feedback.
    ~I did not think about changing the interaction text to something more detailed.
    ~I will look for that Foundry item, I did not notice it.
    ~I can see about adding more detail to the map but it was an open barren place to begin with:) I do not want to junk it up to much with random items. I can look at adding more detail to existing items, like the tower and a few of the huts to make them come alive a bit more.

    I ran yours and posted feedback on your review. Quite enjoyable if I remember correctly.

    I have re-worked a lot of my quest and added a more complete ending, if anyone else wants to give it a go, feel free.
    I am still trying to reach 20 plays.
