Can't Log in

I'm having a problem where when I click log in it says I can not continue because i am not logged in even though i typed in the right name and pasword

    I'm having the same problem, I'll put in my info (which I am 100% sure is correct, I had to use it to log into the forums to post this) and then the launcher will just close.

    My computer then opens two Internet Explorer windows, both of which just white screen and I get an HTTP 403 error in one of them.

    Please help! D:

    Same here. How i can fix that? Or it's game developer mistake?

    I got exactly the same problem. I login and it opens some page saying that "This web site needs you to log in.

    had this problem, closed launcher, re-ran launcher, now I'm in and PATCHING.

    "res://ieframe.dll/http_403_webOC.htm" This is what the client are trying to open in a new internet explorer window

    Seems everyone having trouble getting in this game,I sign in,it starts to loading {saying loading}but come to find out, it is FROZE, done this 4 times now and still does it...WHY???

    I had the same issue but if you just visit: https://my.perfectworld.com/nw/redeemkey (you don't need to click anything or get the code or anything then run the launcher again it should work.

    NVM what runningblind30 (the guy who just posted before me) said worked, thanks dude!

    Same problem, tried launching as administrator, tried all the compatibility settings, tried ticking some boxes in the options. Nothing helps :(

    I am having the same problem: after putting in my email and pw, 2 identical IE windows open w/ an HTTP 403 error as such:


    The website declined to show this webpage

    HTTP 403


    Most likely causes:
    •This website requires you to log in.


    What you can try:



    Go back to the previous page.

    Wow runningblind that worked for me =) patching now
    That is really poor for such a big company to have so many errors in the LAUNCHER
    Well hope the game will be fun =)

    ok, I've also reinstalled, did the whole forgot password and username. changed password, before I tried closing the re-running the launcher...

    just to clarify...
    so, somewhere in that rush, it worked for me, best of luck.

    Urgh i can't login either, says invalid username and/or password, yet my username is correct and i have changed password.

    Yes. Going to that link fixed it for me as well. Not sure how the hell you figured this out or even why it works but who cares.

    Adding my name to the list. My wonder is, my husband who has had his perfect world account for STO had no issues logging in and playing. However, I, who just created my account am not able to play. In attempting to log in, it pops up 2 IE windows ( I do not use IE as my browser) and states "The website declined to show the webpage - Most likely causes: - This website wants you to log in. HTTP 403 Forbidden and shows a web tab of res://ieframe.dll/http_403_webOC.htm

    I have verified my email address and changed my password with Perfect World to make sure that I was entering the correct data. I've given it sufficient time to ensure I wasn't overloading the system before entering in the new data, especially today as I'm sure its being bombarded with requests.

    Ok I saw Runningblinds post about the redeemkey link and tried it and it worked. I just went to the link, sat there for a sec, then went and clicked on my NWN icon, it started up loading. I don't understand it, but I'm not going to knock it.
