Gear Prices should be reduced when bought 1 time

The biggest Prob I have is. For my main class the new gear in newest are cost 300K. Thats ok for a main toon but its not ok for an alt.

So it would be nice if there is a reduction in Price.
Example:

I buy 1 piece for 300k the next piece on all toons same account is 20 % off - after buying a secons another 20 % or seomething like that.
The problem at the moment is - noone want to use the new gear on alt toons - its too expensive.

But if alt toons are not build up - and progress - there are less and less runs for adv q and other content.
The gear should not be free but a reduction after buying it once would be nice.

They did not require AD to buy gear before. They added AD because they added an AD sink to eliminate AD from the game. Since it is the intent, most likely they are not going to do that. If you want to have it to be cheaper, you may as well just ask them to reduce the price 20% to be 240K for all or just eliminate AD. Easier for them to program.

I know that it's an AD sink - im ok with. But if you only need to buy it once per account it would be better because the way it is noone inverst in an alt toon.

If you are invested in your alts, you'll do it. Otherwise, no.

I "invested" that to 9 characters although I don't consider those 9 characters are alt.
By the way, each class has a slightly different set (if not totally different set). So, buying one (say, an arm piece) does not mean the alt character can have the same one.

I do feel sympathy here - its not even so much the AD though it the other items needed, especially the stuff from Driders and mini-bosses - major pain.

And with the zone probably with five weeks left with active players... after that how rare will a Drider train be?

Mini-boss can be done alone.
Driders is now a lot easier. 4 players usually can do it.
Some may still farm it for buying enchantment and then sell in AH. The uncommon is posted for quarter a million.
After that, they will be the next shinning thing.

When the next mod comes out, Menzo will be as dead as Northdark Reaches is right now. Which is pretty dead.

Totallly. 1000%. Which is a very serious design flaw.

Yup, and the zones which ARE managing to retain players are being destroyed by the devs, such as taking away Juma from Vallenhas. I am spending a lot of time in River Dist lately because I'm putting 3 characters through that campaign right now and like Vallenhas, you can go to River Dist and see people running around doing things and while it's not overflowing with people, it is kind of active and alive with at least a couple of instances open all the time. But knowing the devs they will tinker with it and kill it too. Hopefully they read this and leave it the F alone, incl the mirage set. Older zones depend on having something unique to offer players so they don't die-out and people keep needing to go back there to work on it.
