Can We Continue to Improve AFK Features

So, this Jubilee is a catastrophe. But there is one shining gem that appeared. The game improved away from keyboard (AFK) features. For example, in previous events, you actually had to come back to the game before timing out and collect the stuff off the ground, but now, it drops directly into our inventory when the merchant reaches the end of the zone. This is great. Can you continue to make minor improvements such as these in the future?
