No use for excess coins from The Feast of Lanterns event

Good evening,

there is a subtle recurring problem with the Feast of Lanterns event. One you buy the event companion with the coins from the event (or if you don't reach the required amount), there is no use for the excess of coins.

As an example, yesterday I bought the companion for 12 coins, today I did the event again and I got 2 new Ox coins, and there is no place to use those coins.

This problem has been happening all years, so now I do have one slot per year with the excess of coins, which would not be a problem except because there is a limit of slots in the "other currencies bag" and once filled you don't get rewards from any event.

It would be great if it is added a place where we can use that excess of coins during the event.

That's good to know - was going to grab the last two tomorrow - just because, but it seems it's better to have an empty slot.

Yeah once you get the mount and companion the currency for that event is useless.
