Deforestation - Bug??

Is the massive deforestation of Barovia suppose to be part of Module 20? I looked in there and you can see forever. With the graphics maxxed I can see the Bonegrinder clearly from the village. Maybe you won't need to do any fixes? Probably won't need them without players. I am going to start up Champions now, what a hoot!
