Various unbound revival scrolls not working

I was in Infernal Citadel recently and needed to use a scroll of mass life in the second boss fight. I had a stack of them (unbound) but the game was bugged so that they were unusable from the dying menu. Since I was the tank, and this was unexpected, everyone died. There were no other life scrolls of any kind in my inventory or other storage areas.
To avoid further problems I moved that stack of scrolls to my bank, so that I had no scrolls left on my character, and then bought five life scrolls from the trade bar store (not mass life this time). Sure enough in the third boss fight of IC I needed to use one - and again the game was bugged so that the brand new life scrolls were unusable from the dying menu!
These scroll issues have become a serious problem that really needs to be addressed. Pretty please.
