Could any of these bugs have been prevented using the test server?

Just wondering why Cryptic has a 'preview server' but never seems to put anything on it until day of / day before production release and ALWAYS has so many bad / fatal bugs?

Seems to me, that posting it on test server would have found several of the bugs included in today's 'fix'.

if they don't want a dev platform, maybe they can absorb the hardware into production and get rid of the massive and fatal lag?

    To answer the question of the title: No, it won't prevent it. It did not prevent it in the past. People reported issues. They did not fix the issue. However, people knew about the issue before live and take advantage of it during live.

    To answer the 2nd question: this is the first time I notice they did not put a significant update to preview server before release. Reason: unknown.

    Whiteside said on a stream that the reason as to why they had not put it on preview was so that everyone would get to experience it at the same time.

    As to how valid a reason that is, it's up for debate.
