I've been playing Whisperknife exclusively for months. With the powers I use, I am able to be almost competitive with elite DPS, but lag just a bit.. maybe by 5%. So... I am recommending the following changes to the powers that i DO NOT USE. This would provide more options for the class, making it more fun to play. Only the first skill is a general skill. I included it because no one uses it. For Assassin and Whisperkife, 'Cloud of Steel' should be a viable "option" as a secondary support At-Will skill. On the Assassin side, it would synergize with Gloaming Cut and Deft Strike.
(AT-WILL) Cloud of Steel: Increased from 30 magnitude to 35 magnitude. Effect changed to: Each strike that hits a target will increase all of your ranged damage by 1% for 4 seconds, stacking up to 10 times.
(AT-WILL) Disheartening Strike: Each hit now causes you to regain 2% of stealth.
(ENCOUNTER) Vengeance's Pursuit: Base magnitude increased from 150 to 175.
(ENCOUNTER) Shadowy Disappearance: Stealth duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
(DAILY) Killing Storm: [Control Animation removed] Completely New effect: For 10 seconds, deal 25 magnitude extra damage each time you deal damage. Combat Advantage and Control Resistance increase by 2% each time this damage is dealt.
(DAILY) Lurker's Assault: Apply affect: 10% damage Boost increased to 15% damage boost.
(CLASS FEATURE) Razor Action: Magnitude increased from 200 to 250.
(CLASS FEATURE) Talisman of Shadows: For each affected target, gain 1% stealth.
(FEAT) Hidden Attacks (FEAT): added... At-Will powers deal 10% extra damage while in stealth.
(FEAT) Shadowy Opportunity: Now increases Critical Severity by 15%, instead of dealing 15% of weapon damage.
(FEAT) Gutterborn's Touch: Now also increases deflection by 5%.
