Had this happen twice to me now but this time happened after completing all 5 runs.

Died just as final boss was killed. Spawned dead, unable to be revived from weakened state when moved to Tales of Old lobby. Had to release which sent me back to final campfire inside the dungeon. Only dead boss inside. Could only click on portal exit. Sent me back to Protector's Enclave and received ZERO credit for entire run.

Terrible way to prevent me from being able to buy the final page of the last Artifact.

I got ripped on the first 5x run I did of Throne of Idris back in Oct(?). It was my first intro into Idris. We did 4x runs no problem. On 5th, there was a glitch, and we had to defeat ourselves. It took us past the Direhelm forge to the last campfire. We killed Idris. Portal did not show up. Tried going back to finish Direhelm off, and could not as the shield was up. Went back to PE and only got rewards for 4x runs. I'd probably have everything for this event on my pally if this glitch hadn't boned us.

Now we have a 6hr maintenance in the middle of an event that is extremely difficult to get into in the first place Which I expect will prevent me from getting everything I want on one toon, let alone 3.

The event definitely has it's bugs and it's a shame. They, as usual, turned what could have been a fun event into a monotonous grind that's made worse when you encounter any of a number of bugs that prevent you from getting your rewards for your runs.

Couple that with the extremely difficult nature of getting parties to stay for 5x runs, let alone into a party in the first place and it's just a giant grind fest. Especially when you can't even buy the items tor your alts, with the toon that has the best chances of getting into a group. Also not pleased with the artifacts, comps, and mounts that drop all being BtA on pick up. Let me sell these for ad if I don't want or need them,

There are a lot of things that need fixing before next years tales, including adding the atrifacts, and neck/waist pieces to the collections pages on xbox so I can determine whether or not to run the event at all, let alone try for all the gear on all 4-5 of my toons.

I was looking forward to this event as I wasn't playing when these dungeons were first around but quickly was disappointed with the grind.
12 of 14 days required to max 4 artifacts with 3 of those days being bugged Dread Vault clearly proves that this Retelling was only put on to force Zen purchases of so called "buyout".
