Gith Race Not Unlocking

Being Aug 27th isn't the Gith race to be unlocked for FTP I have guild members telling me that it is still locked and no way to claim it in zen store any help would be great!

    Events/promotions/etc always unlock at 10am PDT (in 1 hour and 5 minutes from this post).

    Also, note that you'll likely need to log in to a character, then jump back to character selection to make a Gith.

    Ah, that worked. When I signed in with another character, I got the message that the race was unlocked and was able to switch characters and create a new Gith. Thanks!
