Mod 18

If MC comes back in Mod 18. I think a new level 80 tool that has to be upgraded to mythic should drop from the tTrial at the same time. People will have one mod to work their stats which is 17 and get prepared. It would give a huge incentive to farm they Trial for a long time. The viability of the content would last much longer and the AD sink of it would great for the economy.

Selling items isn't much of an AD Sink in game it is a transfer. AD sinks remove the AD from other players such as upgrading companions or buying refining stones. The rest of your statement I think would be fine for the most part as long as the tool doesn't drop in Mod 17.

The AH is one of the largest AD sinks in the game. Yes most of the AD simply gets transferred, but the AH does take a 10% cut off all sales, and this isn't including the listing fees for those without VIP.

There is also the AD sink of someone becoming a Mastercrafter after they obtain it. It would be a level 80 tool so all the old MC upgrades would be very easy to do. MC is a huge AD/Zen sink. The artisans that people get from the packs. Upgrading of workshops. All of it is an AD sink.
