master expeditions - problems

I have completed 'campaign' and unlocked the final boon after completing the 'master expedition' however am unable to interact with the final chest and therefore unable to obtain a 'rune etching' for further progress.
Not sure if I've missed something or whether there is a bug at work here. I did not gain anything apart from a pat on the back for completing the previous quests in the thread and have attended several additional runic heroics to see if something would drop from these!
