Do teleporters work in adventure zone maps?

Do teleporters work on adventure zone maps? I tried one but every time I test it the teleporter clicky doesn't even appear. Strangely enough if I go from edit mode while testing to "return to game" I fall to my death in a void. Is this a bug?

NECRO: you cant edit anything in real adventure zone maps other than your quest npc dialogue trees, and eventual quest items given by them, AFAIK! Thought this was funny.
