Scaling Down Changes?

Has the scaling down been changed recently?

I got one-shotted in Kessells for the first time [possibly ever] in my living memory, certainly first time in a year or more.

I have also died very unexpectedly in a few dungeons over the last couple of weeks or other places. I should have made some more notes about it at the time but was so amazed when it happened I assumed it must be a weird bug. Oh thats right - one shotted by a Drag on the Siege Battlefield... one shotted by the Dragon in Neverdeath graveyard...

So yeah - anyone else noticed that downscaling seems to make your toons much weaker than before? Or more squishy?

Level scaling was addressed when mod15 released, in an effort to make lower level queues slightly more difficult.

Mod15 makes level-scaling much more severe than it was in Mod14 and earlier.

(IMO it's still not scaled ENOUGH - My L70s scaled to 60 still one-shot everything, where an equivalently-BIS 60 wouldn't have any problems but wouldn't be just IGNORING everything)

But it *is* a noticeable change, and a good one. Downscaled toons are much weaker than before, even if they're still way, way, way better than anyone at the right level could be.
