Armorsmithing xp awards and +1 seem off

Started messing around with some of the professions other than alchemy today, and I noticed something strange in armorsmithing. All of the X ingot recipes rewarded more xp on completion than the accompanying X plate recipe. The X plate recipes are higher in level so I expected higher xp rewards.

Also Black Iron Ingot and Plate were created at +1 every time the task was successful. I tried different combinations of artisans and tools even dropping focus to 0% and still received +1 every time.

I will try to test this later to verify if im getting the same result as you. You ARE using a fresh copy from live server for testing right?

Yes. It was a new character who started with level 0 armorsmithing.
