[ALL] Weekend Events Reactivated

UPDATE: Event reactivation is now live on all platforms.

Greetings Adventurers,

In order to alleviate some of the impact caused by the connection issues players experienced over the weekend, we plan to reactivate some of the activities by a day. The following events will be active again shortly (Post will be updated when events are once again live).

New end time for Drider/Lair: Wednesday, August 15th at 12:00 MSK (09:00 UTC)

The interruption in the Bonus RP event uptime should not affect players' boosts or progress, but as this is the first time we've extended this event after a short lapse, there may be unexpected results. We welcome your feedback.

I note you only mentioned Wondrous Bazaar and Bonus RP, and only those have been reactivated. Challenge Of The Gods is *not* being reactivated?

Due to how certain event overrides work, not all events could be reactivated. Neither Challenge of the Gods or the CTA: Orc Assault are reactivated.

while I appreciate the extra day.. the problems have been actually worse for me today than they were all weekend. I hadn't been effected this weekend but today I've been having tremendous lag spikes. like unable to control my toon. wildly jumping 20 feet this way and 20 feet that way. its some of the worst lag (or something.. it's so bad I hesitate to call it lag. It might be something else.. ) it's happened in two different codgs. I tried resetting. didn't help. I've had a few discos too. this was xbox.

also I went the route of buying nightmare equipment to salvage on ps4. I didn't do it at all once because of wrists. but the first day I did it it gave me the proper bonus. I think it was 4100 each. today in refining the first one I did gave me 36oo but then I stopped getting any bonus at all. it's just giving me a flat 2700..

Did you run out of raw AD bonus from prayers? Because 2700 sounds right for base value, and +50% from prayer puts it at 4050....

It sounds like you ran out of invoke bonus. 2700 or 2750 (I thought this was the exact) is the unbuffed refinement if you are out of invoking bonus on that character. I ran out on several and now am waiting to salvage the rest.

Another thought. Did your VIP expire? I don't keep it current on PS4 or PC myself. VIP moves it to 2750 and to 41xx with invoke bonus.

@zephyriah I think your initial assessment is probably the right one here. It sounds like @thefiresidecat just ran out of bonus AD. I salvage these pieces all the time and the fact that he says he salvaged a ton on day 1 at 41xx. Then on the next day his first piece only salvaged for 36xx. That would account for having some bonus AD to reach that amount and running out on that piece which is why the next pieces are going for 27xx (its 2750 with my VIP) which would be the default value with no bonus AD.

I don't have anything to spend of importance on pc and ps4 so I buy lots of keys in the 50 packs. I have like four months behind of vip in both atm. so thats not it. i figure when I run out of ad I'll delete em. lol. well maybe not pc. I am getting an upgraded pc and I might play a little more there when that's set up.

Yeah, 10%. Which is why the weapon worth 2500 is refining for 2750 to begin with.

The VIP boost to salvage shows in the numbers - purple rings show as salvaging for 4400 instead of 4000. Then your prayer AD, if any, kicks in and adds up to 50% on top, so the ring eats either 2200 or 2000 of your prayer bonus AD and the actual result that pops on your screen and goes in your bank is 6600 vs 6000.

a couple days later 1 piece salvaged for 36 after that it dropped but I do have vip 12. I should have 10% better

the more important issue is the disconnection still happening and the weird weird bad lag still happening. today I'm being randomly disconnected a lot too. my internet is wired and fast.. other things, ie everything but neverwinter, aren't having problems.. but ever since yesterday I'm having a very difficult time playing this game. I'm afraid to go into codg. this is the absolute most terrible lag I've ever encountered in thsi game and I was around for the well of dragons prism terror. I fear you fixed one thing and gimped another portion of the community in the process.


i wrote this having only been in the game a little today. its unplayable. i'm in for five minutes and it kicks me. I cant do anything without losin gprogress. trying to do he's kicks you before you can get reward and then you can't get back into instance. kicked from dungeons no reward. I'm having the problems others were having this weekend.

off to destiny for the rest of the day. please fix.

2750 *is* 10% better. You mention you're on PS4 so I can't just say "move to preview and salvage the same thing there, see, 10% less", so instead I'll tell you to go grab a purple ring using seals and see what it shows you in the salvage window. 4400, right? Purple rings give 4000. You're getting 10% more.

Your prayer AD doesn't show in the salvage value, because it doesn't actually appear until the AD enters your wallet. So you'll see "you can salvage this ring for 4400", click salvage, and see 6600 AD enter your inventory if you have enough prayer AD left over.

ohhhhhh ok. I thought the 2700 was the base price. that's probably it then.

Like i said the important part of this is not the other issue but the weird unplayability issues on xbox. I dont want my comments about the ad to overtake the important issue.
