Dinos Ambush attack seems to ignore at least 60% of DR

I've noticed it on my cleric during Tyrant BHE - with other attack I was getting about 7k mitigation, but with Ambush only 2k. Is this intentional? I haven't seen anywhere a mention of Ambush ignoring or bypassing DR.

Another suspicious skill seems Spear Throw of Riding Raiders (batiris riding dinos) - on my TR with 16.6% DR the reduction from this skill dmg is... 200 (hits for 10800 instead of 11000).
