2x Enchantments & Runestones (and refining Gems)

I noticed a strange occurrence during the most recent event -

Enchanted Coffers normally drop 1 or 2 Peridot, so for the double event you would get 2 or 4 Peridot, right?

WRONG

You get 3 Peridot.



And sometimes the Amethyst, with a normal drop of 3, wasn't increased AT ALL, but sometimes was correctly doubled



So, I sent a ticket to support regarding the issue (Primarily the Peridot) and was told that as the AVERAGE drop of Peridot from the Enchanted Coffer is 1.5 (it normally drops 1 or 2, so yea I guess the average is 1.5) so 3 is in fact double.

But that is double the AVERAGE drop, NOT double what you would normally receive, as per the advertisement - arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/10744304-2x-enchants-%26-runestones

What does everyone think?

It has the same effect in the Hidden Treasures box from somi (map in a bottle). Somehow they messed up x2 in the high part of the RP reward (sapphires/black opals) but in the lower part it does work (amethyst/peridots/emeralds) ?!?!

Edit: Oh and to put down the whole average thing. In the upper RP reward of these boxes there is no 1x sapphire.. only 2x.. so why are we getting 3 on a double event?
