[CONSOLE] Final 2x Refinement Points

Greetings Adventurers!

Starting Thursday, December 28 and ending Wednesday, January 4, we will be holding the final 2x Refinement Points (2x RP) event for Xbox One and PS4 under the current Refinement system.

Will there be future refinement events under the new Refinement system introduced in Module 12b?
Yes! As mentioned previously in this forum thread, a Bonus Refinement Points event will take the place of the double refinement event. The first date of this Bonus Refinement Points event will occur January 25 to January 29 and will occur at a similar cadence as the previous RP event.

How will this Bonus Refinement Points event work?
During the Bonus Refinement Points event, players who are above level 10 and are killing creatures within 7 levels of them will receive Refinement Points, based on their level, directly granted to their character.

So what’s happening this weekend on Console?
From Dec 28 to Jan 4, Console will have the current 2x RP event with no changes.

Please let us know if you have any more questions on timing or function so we may “refine” our messaging when the new event goes live!

    I am unable to refine artifacts with other artifacts on Xbox One. Is this a known issue?

    With any reclaimable artifact it is, otherwise you should be able to do it. One exception is Heart of the red Dragon can never be used, even if you got it from a non-reclaimable source. A few of the artifacts state on the tooltip that they cannot be used for refining, but it is inconsistently labeled.

    Beacon of Simril is also not allowed to be a feeder. That being said, it is able to be turned into RP with the new system, so save it for 12b if you have room.

    How will Gemstones/Runestones work with Stronghold Coffers? Or will have something else to use to get gems?

    Most likely same as currently. Insignias, enchantments, runestones, vouchers, jewelcrafting gem boxes.
