Dragon Turtle bodyslam special bugged?

So me and my friends played Fangbreaker for the first time yesterday and when we reached the Dragon Turtle boss we sadly had to give up because it kept stacking over 13 body slams. Now before everyone goes nuts and yells "get better dps! Get a real tank!" I want to address that it is not in style with the dungeons that Neverwinter usually releases. Yes, of course the toughest tank would be most welcome and insane dps more than less, but this makes everything childs play. What I'm trying to get at is that every dungeon in this game has some form of tactic, or counter tactic as you might say. For example the green beam in eToS, the barrel in eCC and the wolf in eGWD. There are always ways to lessen, prevent, avoid or take advantage off in these fights. For the Dragon Turtle's bodyslam however there are none. The bodyslam will happen regardless, we all tried not to flank him to our bests and it happened anyway even when we clearly didn't flank it. We tried several different locations and it all made zero difference, one time he wouldn't do any and then suddenly the next he would jump on the ice like it was a trampoline when we were still in the same place.

We've read on a beta topic somewhere (that I sadly can't find atm) that the bodyslam was considered "not working as intended" by a dev. Sadly there are no patch notes regarding it for this Thursdays patch, so I thought I bring it up.

Feel free to leave any real tips for avoiding the bodyslam if you know any :)

Its called a gear check. The last boss is a mechanics check, the second boss is a gear check. The idea is, to beat the dungeon, you need to have both the build that enables you to complete it (gear included) and the know how to understand the mechanics. Quite a lot of other games have gear checks, its about time that NW had 1.

I honestly like the difficulty of FBI. If someone's explanation of how to run the newest content is More DPs and just tank and spank.. they are likely in a group of people that carry them consistently through stuff.. OR is talking about content that is old enough that the majority of people already got the new stuff in a mod that makes the new mod's content farmable.

That seems to be the cycle... new dungeon.. campaign and gear to earn to make the new dungeon farmable.. then the dungeon is like.. meh... then new Mod. :D.

The patch notes for preview right now include a fix for the Dragon Turtle using his Wild Slam attack even when players are correctly positioned so that he should not be using it.

With no matter how much epic gear you have, when you have 20 stacks of Bodyslam everyone will die I assume. I do not mind the difficulty, it is a lot of fun :) I think our average item level was 3,5, which should be enough. Knowing Neverwinter however, you always need to add 500-1000 IL extra for it to be actually realistically decent/great. I get your point, but still I think it's unfair that this attack can sometimes be cancelled (for whatever reason) and sometimes not, with the rules being so unclear on it. In that case they should remove the cancel entirely or fix it.
