I have a few questions That I cannot seem to find definite answers for thourgh any websearch.
(Mainly because it seems people stopped updating NWO Guides about two years ago.)
Perhaps some kind, friendly, and BEAUTIFUL former PC Players could answer these...
1. When working towards a "Slayer" acheivement, do companion kills count as character kills?
2. Mounts...what's the deal with them?
I *think* I get them, but don't want to waste Zen, so here goes...
If I buy a Purple Mount I am then able to take the "Active Power", and "Speed Power" off of it and put it onto any other mount I want?
Basically just using one mount's apearance as a skin?
Is there a limit to how many times this can be done?
3. Is there any way to change the location of the bag we are given at the start of the game?
I have a bit of OCD, and having a small bag, then a huge bag, just bothers me.
It would be nice to go from largest to smallest.
4. Who are considered "allies"?
Many powers mention "if allies are within 'x' feet"...exactly who are considered allies for this?
Only people in your group?
Any players on "your side"?
5. Last, but not least...Are Profession worth the time investment anymore?
I read that Leadership once gave out Diamonds, but no longer does.
I read that Alchemy doesn't actually let you make any "good" dyes. (Like Black) And that is the ONLY reason I wanted Alchemy, to make dyes.
And, I read the Weapon/Armors that can be made are inferior to those dropped by creatures.
Okay, that is it...for now.
Thank You, in advance, for any information you decide to share with us "newbies".
Good Luck, and Have Fun!

2. Yes, a skin and unlimited switches.
3. If you empty it, you should be able to pick it up, but you would need to have another for the slot or it would just go back when you re-open it.
4. Your companion and other players within that distance.
5. I think they are. Leadership now makes refinement items at high level, very valuable in this new economy, but will take months to get there (slowest profession to level). Many alchemy items sell well on the AH (Vitriols, potions, Aqua V and Aqua R to name a few, plus crafting for coffer is nice. Armor can make the best or second best pants and shirt in the game, so you were told wrong. Weapon/artificing is bad it is true, but you can still craft for the coffer.
Masterworks for profession in a guild can make weapons/armor useful, but that will be a long way off, Guild Hall 12. Jewelry makes excellent rings, belts and neck pieces. For yourself, you may find better with Underdark rings. But, for your companion, the personalized stuff from jewelcrafting is very good. And you can craft Gems for the coffer.
I would level the weapon skill first, then Armor, then Jewelry, once you have 9 slots start leadership." Why the weapon first? You said it was bad". Because it is fast, and because it is bad, the mithral tools and master/grandmaster people will be cheaper than the others allowing you to get the 100% speed slot and rank 3 slot quickly and for a reasonable price until many people read this and do the same.
I thought of one more question...
What is the highest XP Bonus one can get?
I mean, if I wear all XP boosters will the Zen XP Booster still work?
I ask because I have the "Inscribed" shirt & pants.
I need to know if they will still be contributing to bonus XP if I end up buying the XP Booster Scroll in the Zen Store.
Again, Thank You!
