A Charger that trots?

Chargers don't trot. That's the whole point of the word "charger". While this horse looks good, it should gallop. Colour me disgusted with the animation.

    PWE and Cryptic have made many mistakes in this (LIE)cense, but this afront to equine motion and the numerous studies into it MUST NOT STAND, it may trot but it will not stand!

    It's not so much of a charge as a...pretentious power walk.

    I love the pose your character strikes while on it. It's the overbearing cherry on the pretentious sundae.

    Same here. However, if you add the chef's hat, dyed pink, and the pantaloons of your choice, dyed pink, you can PULL IT OFF.

    Then all you need to do is mount up, hit the /follow command in chat, and you're good to troll, I mean roll.
    No idea what my toon is now.

    The mount looks fine, I like the brindled pattern :)
    And of course the arrogant feeling when my character puts its hands to the hips.

    This is straight out of a Monty Python movie. Can you imagine a heavy cavalry charge of knights crossing the field of battle like that?

    I was expecting something a bit more like a jousting horse. Using this mount to joust would get you knocked on your a**.

    If that horse tried to gallop, it would trip over the tablecloth it's wearing.

    Having owned actual horses, the tail being raised means either the horse is agitated or it has to defecate. The amble the horse uses suggests the latter.

    As an insignia mount, it is good though (for certain classes).

    In all seriousness, we have a disturbing lack of bipedal mounts you ride piggyback on. Or are carried around by. Who wouldn't kill for a 10 foot tall Fabio that gallantly runs around while cradling you in his arms?

    I equipped it for about 20 seconds and put it back into the closet. It's a free mount for the champion's return insignia bonus. That's how I see it.

    I bought it on all my 70s because I could, but it is ridiculous and I cannot be seen riding it.

    I'll probably get more use out of it because of its ridiculous gait. I could rename my guild to "Ministry of Silly Trots". It might also be good as a base for a Masquerade costume. I wouldn't ride it everyday, but it may have fun uses.

    Is it only me or has the horse a hilariously dumb walking/riding animation?
    For a Charger i would expect the regular walking animation and not the parade walking animation.

    I guess no one noticed that this mount has the exact animation as the Jubilee Parade Horse from the Protectors Jubilee Event. At least the trot made sense for a "parade" horse.

    Which of course was what disappointed me the most. I love the look of the charger but the animation is kind of ridiculous for a mount you're supposed to ride into war. Wouldn't be so bad if it actually caused the mobs to fall over and die laughing.

    I noticed it right away since Parade Horse was the only mount with that animation (I made a thread about it, didn't know about this one; http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1216578/neverwinter-champions-chargers-animation)
    I hope they'll change it, this is really absurd, maybe it was a mistake?

    Eh, just cryptic being lazy as usual. Using cut-and-paste for everything they can and never double-checking things.

    For example, check out what the collections page says about where you can get the Shadow Demon. Or the Beholder Tank. Or figure out what section of the AH a lot of recent lockbox rewards ended up in (hint: not one that makes any damn sense for most of them). Etc. etc. etc.

    If you make it go faster it has a nice booty shake and strut.
