Patch process gets stuck while download keeps increasing

Here is the situation:
I normally dont use any patching proxy or force verify etc.After every new patch,my launcher's patched status gets stuck while download number keeps increasing for last 3-4 new patch. I find the solution by choosing EU patching proxy.I can patch the game every time doing this but this might be too hard for less computer-savy people or first time downloaders.You might want to check this if this is WAI or maybe there is someting wrong with patcher
