Many an adventurer has spent a considerable amount of time upgrading the Lostmauth Set, which is why we're implementing a process to let you exchange it.

Assuming you mean "Greater" version where applicable?

Do these include greater belts and cloaks?

since there are not the simple greater belts with +4 on a single stat, i guess i will keep my lostmauth on both hr and tr. Btw CWs and SWs will appreciate this.
i think it would have made much more sense to offer every possibile artifacts/belts/cloaks since bonuses are generally worthless everyone would have preferred 3 non-set piece of gear.
    still something tho

Yes, it's the level 70 versions. Strumslinger will update the blog when he gets a chance to make that clear.

My interpretation of the blog post is that you can individually trade each piece, so you can trade your Belt of Puissance for a Greater Seldarine belt, for instance -- but keep Lostmauth's Hoard Necklace.

Can @strumslinger clarify that I have that right?

That was my interpretation as well:

She has a shop where adventurers may exchange a piece of the Lostmauth Set for another of a different set, keeping the same quality.

Since it's recommend that the pieces be refined to the next tier, as no accumulated refinement points are transferred, is it possible to get a 2x RP weekend prior to the changes going live? In order to allow those that need one last chance to achieve the desired level. (I don't use this set, but thought there were many peers who would need one final opportunity to get those few remaining levels for the next tier.)

This is extremely generous. Frankly, overly so. I guess whiners win again.

Now I really must return to crafting many, many pairs of pants.

Whoa. Time to grab some elol pieces to trade for black ice I guess.

Eh? The way I'd interpert it is that we're trading in our elol set pieces for pieces from the other set of the same quality (i.e. rare, epic, legendary). We'll lose our lolset that we trade in but the piece we trade it for will be the same quality albeit not the same level. I don't get why they couldn't just have it give a piece at the same level though. Seems like someone was too lazy to figure that one out.

im wondering with this update is demo/edemo going to be 2 hard for players without the lm set working as it does now or will pve npcs change in hp to accommodate for the changes in dps to the big dps that normally carry people through single handedly I welcome the nerf just remember when you change something it has a dramatic effect as well not just pvp or pve but both. lets say lm set trippls some classes damage if u take that away can people even get gold in demo or edemo or do tiamat ect so on and so on would it make the game to difficult. dev's need to start playing the game more and understanding from players views b4 they mess with stuff.

I will not change my LM set no need, it has crucial stats atm for my toon to be able to work properly, if i change the set i have to start grinding for new armor with different stats.

No deal for me but good for many i think and will make many people happy.

What about the Major Action Point Gain Jewels I have slotted in my neck/belt??
  • strumslingerstrumslinger Member, NW_CrypticDev, Cryptic Developer Posts: 1,724 Cryptic Developer
Yes, it is the Greater Sets and yes, you don't need to exchange your whole set.

First off would like to say, lost set needs to do % of crit dmg done, not just 3-6k of dmg on a 1mill crit is should do atleast 25% of the 1mill crit, people haven't blown their cash for nothing ya know
  • darkstarcrashdarkstarcrash Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 1,382 Arc User
    Thanks for the clarification, Andy!

And, I agree that this is a good solution. I'm keeping the set on my GWF and avoided it on my CW and HR, so the exchange won't affect me -- but I know several guildies are pretty happy about this.

A double RP event would be a great idea here, to better facilitate those people with purple artifact equipment trying to get to orange.

    Yeah, I'll echo this.

The shop is a very nice commendable thing to do, but if you're just a few levels away from an upgrade on an item you want to exchange, ouchies.

    Thank you! This is wonderful.

Although could it be possible to put the Antiquities Scholar Vendor on Preview, please? I would love to test the Black Ice Set before purchasing.

Why isn't the Orcus set on there it should be I don't care if it's new or not just because it was just released and you want people to grind for it. A lot of those other sets don't match up for TR AND GWF why hurt those classes huh. It needs to be for Xbox as well.

WoW and double wow, thank you Devs! I must say this is a very wise decision now!

Only thing, if we may ask to let the vendor stay up for a while there, guess not everyone reads news nowadays and builds need a bit of testing too.
