Trapper PvP - Control Bonus stacking
Hi there, I just returned to Neverwinter, left as soon as strongholds was released. I am a purely pvp player and im wondering about something that i cant seem to find any information on. Is control bonus a stat we need to worry about or would it be better to go for more ArPen/Crit for the flat damage bonus to everything else?
At first glance i feel like it is something that i should stack in my artifact choices simply because with high tenacity and especially with elven battle people can reduce my roots to split-second debuffs. A small chunk of my damage seems like it will be coming from Thorned Roots and of course there is also Crushing Roots to worry about. Im concerned that at the BiS level i will come up against somebody with elven battle who will simply negate a decent chunk of my damage/CC. Obviously targets who are completely control immune arent an issue as I will deal a chunk of weapon damage instantly to them.
I know there are others who hare looking for similar information so if some experienced Trapper PvP'ers could weigh in on the matter it would be pretty awesome. Not sure if it makes a difference but I will be building 15 points into Archery for the Longshot feat, running high crit chance with a Feytouched slotted. May also experiment with a Holy Avenger at some point.
