Increasing the scale of the HUD induces numerous display bugs

I have poor sight and I wish to increase text size. The Increasing HUD option in the interface tab could solve my problem alas! When you increase this option you face very disquieting effects:
Party members number 3, 4 and 5 (from top to bottom, you being #1) are displayed on an horizontal line even though there is still screen space under #3. This effectively encroaches on your field of vision especially if buffs start to pile up and impedes you.
Most of the time, in the power tab, the powers you get at lvl 20 will be shaking. (Shaking hurts my eyes)
the picture in the bottom right corner of the screen which displays what item you get will shake too.
Is there another way to increase HUD size or is it the only setting that could help but was done in a non-satisfactory way?
