So i just read another devs blog about mod 8 and new heroic encounters. Even though i think the new rewarding system might be promising, Im concerned again and tired of encounters.

Encounters in IWD, yay for another pointless zerg of people running around in circle to get peridots (not so much now since it got nerfed). Encounters in all the new mod 6 areas, yay for another time spent getting a r5 enchant. Encounters in SH to get influence.
And now mod 8 and its heroic encounters in all of those zones to kill the new monsters of Underdark.
Are you guys serious?
Im playing Encounters and Dragons... Im not a pvp'er. So that gives me again limited choice. Please tell me that there's a future devs blog about new or reworked dungeons because now im seriously losing faith. And i play since Beta. I was expecting to slay those new demons and other ugly beasts IN DUNGEONS, not in encounters! Im super super disappointed. Prove me im wrong please pretty please.
I've never felt the need to post on this forum before mod 6. Now I feel the need to say how disappointed I am and sad I am to see a game with such a potential going to an almost certain death.

I do still see group participation in the bigger HEs in IWD, like with the Remorhaz and Beholder - but that's because the purple drops make it a worthwhile endeavor.
And while dungeons can be fun - since mod 6 some dungeons are never played straight because of the one shot kill issue. CC and the final boss in SoT are usually tackled by taking advantage of glitches. ALWAYS in CC, sometimes in SoT.
I understand the desire for dungeons, but if they make more that can only be won by counting on glitches, I will pass.
the good point: difficult and reward be based in the numbers of players is a good thing. really is.
the bad point:
players in general do heroic encounters by
A - necessity. can be rp, influence, etc... you can see a lot of complaints about how boring is play just to that .
B - have one in the way. NOW i will need create a alternative route in dr to try MAYBE got some purple marks in some boring mini dungeon or during some generical "bring me the nails of 100 imps"?
C - the most important: new heroic encounters, like happens in SH, in general are a TOLERABLE alternative for a SOLO players in the firsts days, after that, look "A" and "B"
ps: a "demons module" and you guys bring a johnny bravo's oozaru?
My own little pleasure right now in this mod at this point is to beat eCC and eGWD legit. Now, it will pass fast enough. Im really sorry you cant find a decent group to finish those dungeons in the normal way, but i repeat, this is Encounters and Dragons. Not Dungeons and Dragons anymore. And it's a shame.

I'm guessing the rewards will suck, but the game will tie in some required progression function so you have to run them like it did for Wind Spire? Spire...something. I don't even remember the name, it was so bad, I'm trying to forget it. It must be working.
