Update 1:40PM PDT: We're experiencing more attacks. We're working on stabilizing the servers.

Update 8:00PM PDT: We're experiencing more attacks and are looking into it. Thank you for being patient.

Hey folks,

Just wanted to give you a heads-up, we're experiencing attacks on our servers that are preventing players from logging in. These attacks are coming in bursts, so you may be able to stay online for a while, then experience a kick. Our teams are working on stabilizing servers.

    Well if their attacks are anything like my last attempt at Valindra then servers are safe :p... but yeah did notice some serious rubberbanding and teleporting.

    At least you made effort to inform us, grateful for that. I can't even log in for longer than 10 minutes at time and that's rare for me even be able get in game at this time.

    Pathetic basement dwellers attacking game servers because they have no life..

    Fix my son a bottle come back timed out and try to log back in and it tells me I am temp suspended. No email to say what's up......any ideas?

    They are getting hit by a DDoS. They need to like re-route their network or something. I'm not really sure.

    Seems like it is not just centered on Neverwinter. Hopefully the attacks will stop or get redirected. I have never understood the DDoS mentality. It really does not take much talent, most of the time the people who perform the attacks are using a prog someone else wrote and do not really understand how or why it works. Sad.

    Update: We're tentatively good now. The bursts have ceased, and we're shifting into monitoring mode.

    We most certainly are not good. Why are accounts under temporary ban? My lady's account in the midst of playing logged her out and now tells her she has a temporary suspension. We tried to log onto the forums to email support on her account and her account is banned from the Arc website. How do we fix this in an expeditious manner?

    Yeah it's stupid with the money I put into this game and they don't have people to fix stuff. Any other ? Mmo I have played has 24 hrs of support.

    Is this still going on? I haven't been able to log on since Friday morning. I get a long lag when it says Contacting shard provider then when the screen comes up to play the play option is grayed out.

    Well they could at least compensate us if we lose our dailys over this especially now vip
    Daily keys are added besides it's there game and they should have there servers more tightly secure At the end of the day us

    Its now monday 3:40 pm cst and lag has the game unplayable still.. at least i can still get my keys, to bad i cant do anymore than that tho.. nuthin but disconnects and lag here

    It seems really odd that a DDoS would come in "bursts" instead of a sustained attack. If I were an "attacker" per se it would be more gratifying to sustain the DDoS and make sure access to said game or server(s) was null. Weird.

    The hacker has posted numerous times prior to the ddos on neverwinter twitter page. Even plays the game on xbox

    glad to hear that the hacker plays this game that shows neverwinter online have a powerful fan base, on a side note...kind of sucks tho that he decided to DDOS the server to teach the developer and publisher a lesson which ends up us the player to suffer the consequences =(

    What's up with the game....was a level 68 and I have on 68 and 67 gear....but now all of a sudden I died and when I released and came back...now I'm a level 66
