OK, getting worse with every patch and been broken since 2013.
Brief specs of my PC: Q9300 @ 2.8 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, GTX 660 (same UI "bug" with old 8800 GT), Win 8.1 (same bug with Win7), 2 TB fast 7200 rpm drive. Drivers up to date.
Bug: when you play normally, with all those icons, your toon info, bottom power icons, etc, you know, normal stuff, all game, in any place, suffer huge fps drop. Since last patch is even worse.
I.e.: standing in PE, lowest (!) settings - 11 fps, highest settings - 8 fps. When I press ESC to show option menu (so no more those power icons, map, chat, etc), fps suddenly go to 60 (reaching 60fps limit I have set in "advanced"). This is the only way to actually test my card, I mean, really normal behavior on not-so-fast machines, i.e. if you look at the sky or at the floor only, you will get faster frame rates than if you will look more complex scene with more polys, effects, distance and so on. This is how it should be. Well, it's not when all those power icons, map, chats is on. Really, REALLY annoying since I start to play this game back in 2013, now it's even worse.
Please, lets fix it. I will provide with any info you need to help solve this prob.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: hiding "mission tracker" from "rearrange hud" solved PARTIALLY the situation, I still see fps drop.

Now when I press esc or f2 ( hide UI) fps spikes to 30.

here is a video with problem:
This trick bring back a prepatch "not-so-good" experience. The UI issue is still there and need to be solved! In my config, I still see a 20-25% fps drops with all those HUDs (except Mission Tracker), which I really like btw. But fps drop must be addressed. Not sure if it's a game engine problem or something else, but I can't believe that a 2D overlapped textures eat so much fps.
