Hello.
To cut the story short, I have a proposal that, as far as I know, would take little effort to implement, but would improve the quality of life of at least a small fraction of NW's population.
Specifically, I propose that Driftwood Tavern be made into its own separate single instance, rather than being a part of Protector's Enclave, which has its own several dozen instances.
Why? Because it would allow for its sensible use by roleplayers, as the visitors wouldn't get split into one-two per instance, and a very suitable alternative to the Moonstone Mask. I mean, not everyone's character is the sort to prefer fancy estabilishments like the Mask, and a slightly wider availability of venues would make life considerably richer.
I hope this thread reaches the sight of our community managers, but meanwhile, what of the community itself? Yes? No? Lobster?

A good number of Foundry quests I've played have used the Driftwood (some of my absolute all-time favorites, in fact). I don't know how cleanly these would transfer if the Driftwood were made a separate instance instead of an interior area in PE. The interactible assets wouldn't be what they are now, you know? And while some of these authors are seemingly no longer around to maintain their work, Cryptic has thus far managed to not break anything. (Also, the featured version of a quest can never be edited at all.)

Hmm. Perhaps keeping the old location in place, but redirecting people to the new, solitary instance when they normally enter? That way quests could still use the "part of PE" one.
