help revamping my ranger

first I love playing my ranger as it is a challenge but the development team needs to put the fixes in as this is unacceptable to those playing HRs.
I have ignored professions to enjoy play but I should look into it. So what professions should I work on to augment my HR?
I have a retraining token so the question is if I use it do I loose all the points I have put into powers or do I get all the points I have now to re-alocate? will my boons also disappear or be allowed to be re-allocated?
If not I want still want to use stormwarden and follow archer tree.
for equipment here is what I have:
longbow elemental fire
elemental fire blades
lathander belt
gemmed equisite element tunic and pants
boots elemental alliance raid gaiters
cloak of the emissary of neverwinter
the rest are all blue items
any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. oh and that goes for the development team making the fixes all these dedicated HRs have commented on!!!

This is what I'm aiming for, and what is I believe the BiS options for HR right now. Aim for soulforged or negation enchantment, as high rank as possible. For offense, get a plague fire, vorpal, or terror, also as high as possible.

This is the best I can recommend. To get the rings (and probably your first cloak, you can get one better than most artifact) use jewelcrafting profession. You can get worse blue versions on the ah for like 20k ad, they give 338 of each stat and have an offense slot. Gemmed elemental and exquisite elemental are from leatherworking profession, AH, or you can sometimes get guildmates to make them for you. Equip rank 7 enchants to start, slowly working your way up. Get a plague fire first, followed by lesser soulforged for enhancements. Keep those for a long time, before finally leveling them up higher. Alliance assault stuff is really easy to get, get that first, then elven assault, then upgrade the elven assault to elemental.
You could also consider respeccing to pathfinder trapper instead, but gear remains the same if you do that. Also, get lesser dragon's hoard enchantments asap, they are awesome for getting rp.
A little tip; use rank 4's to upgrade the artifacts (not artifact equipment), it is the cheapest way.
If you have issues getting the millions of rp to refine artifacts (not uncommon), I would advise picking up ensorcelled mulhorand main-hand and off-hand, they are almost as good as epic artifact weapons, and they're better than rare. Finally, gemmed elemental shirt and pants are about 1/5th the cost of gemmed exquisite elemental shirt and pants, while giving almost as good stats, and having a slot. That's the best advice I have for improving your hr. Run with guildmates in t1 dungeons a lot until you have t1 armor set, then farm for rp for an epic artifact belt and epic artifact weapons, then get r8 enchants, then go t2 dungeons for t2 equipment, and by then you should be well on your way. Yeah.
As you already have the BiS undergarments I wouldn't worry about Leatherworking just yet. I'd suggest leveling Jewelcrafting for the personalised rings and Leadership. Everything else is unimportant at this stage.
Using a retraining token resets your ability scores, powers, feats and boons. You get to re-allocate all the points.
I am playing a SW Archer in pve and I'm generally happy with him. I would suggest grabbing all the defensive/healing boons, it helps for survivability.
The Lathander set is pretty nice for an Archer and you will save on not having to buy and use injury kits. I'd recommend swapping out the Gemmed Exquisite Elemental Tunic for the Shirt unless you are planning to stack Deflect, in which case I'd suggest using the the Trousers instead of the Pants.

Now IL seems to be back in line. Very strange...
So, theoretical question... if you had a bunch of zen or ADs burning a hole in your pocket, what would you spend it on? Blow it all on something like a perfect vorpal, or save it for smaller upgrades along the way?
