[Improvement Suggestion] Distance between escalation boss portals and nearest Fast Travel spots

Please streamline the distance between portals of escalation bosses and nearby Fast Travel spots among all Overworld maps.

Currently it takes very long for some Overworld maps (especially Benalia, Tolaria and Shiv) to reach the portal of escalation bosses after travelling to the nearest Fast Travel spot. Compared to Gavony or even Tazeem the way for the above mentioned ones takes excessively long.

This is quite frustrating especially if you were a bit late maybe due to finishing a lengthy skirmish while the escalation boss timer triggered and thus might even miss the chance to participate in the fight and receive the loot respectively because other players already defeated the bosses before you even had the chance to join due the excessively long travel time.

    I agree with you. We should have a portal right next to the portal.

    I also think that the echo and mythical encounter should give much better rewards (maybe refined aether instead of unrefined for higher difficulties)

    Is just a waste of time to do those bosses at higher dificulty levels. 

  • I already felt like that, too. Higher level mythic and echo encounters really feel like a waste of time especially when you already received your 5 weekly Orbs of Shadows.

    Honestly, by the time you're playing on Master difficulty, the boss fight generally times out with no one bothering to fight it. It's not worth the effort compared to just doing skirmishes.

  • Right ... unless there aren't at least a couple of players (3-4 depending on their Loadout and Score), it takes too long to go for the echo bosses.

    Orb of Shadows gives such a small reward it's really not worth the trouble, anyway. If it gave different rewards based on difficulty, it might be more interesting, but that's not really possible with how it's currently designed.

    Maybe if master awarded like 5+ orbs while somehow still only counting as 1 for the weekly cap?

  • Compared to how long it takes to fill the escalation bar (no matter which difficulty), the overall reward of echo encounters feels ridiculously inappropriate. Especially because they appear to be are supposed the great final encounter of the according Overworld map.
