you should get a "trinket" at low lvl that can be equipped once your soul force hits 100 you can use it and most likely will kill everything around you hope that helps

Personalty i like the fact the gear is bound keeps it fair (just my opinion) Im gonna guess ultima you used to play WoA due to your typing style lol

Im personally not to sure i haven't run into this issue at all. As I am always teaming with friends and randoms... I would guess it was just a temporary bug
