Isn't that the inconvenience or consequence of dying. Why take that away and make the game way too easy, after all, I believe there is no Exp penalty.

You are not doing anything wrong, Pretty much every class that runs on Mana complain about the same thing. I read earlier somewhere that the Dev Team were gonna look into it and probably fix MP consumption rate of skills or Mp regeneration rate :D im keeping my hopes up for OB

Priest can perform resurrection, but under circumstances. The Priest has to be out of battle. Meaning you may not attack nor heal anyone in order to get out of Battle stance.
