Yay for the big charge reward discounts, but with the new leaf purchasing system does this mean instead of getting 100 charge reward points for 1 dollar worth of zen (100 zen), we only get 40 points now because we're buying 40 leaves? Because that just makes spending so much less tempting.

    not really sure what youre looking at to think its anything but the regular system.

    Receive Points:
    For every 40 Leaves that you purchase during the event period, you will receive 100 points.

    40 leaves = 1$ = 100 pts


    wheres the confusion



    the only thing that really sucks about this awesome deal (****) is that you don't get any points for spending leaves in game. so pretty much all the noncsing farmers get royally screwed.

    MAJOR CS'er bonus, yeah.

    $20 is 800 leaves. 1 leaf = 1 point (in old system)

    so 800/40 =20 20 x 100 = 2,000 just off buying the leafs.

    Spending them gives you another 800 points = 2,800 (old system)

    At normal prices of let's say... Clock work orb 2,800 /1,200 = 2.333333 (Old System)

    Now 2,000 with reduced price....4.76

    Charging Leaf for Points Ends: Monday, December 1st 2014 @ 11:59PM (PDT)
    - You can no longer can gain any points from money transfers.

    Charge Rewards Redemption End: Monday, December 8th 2014 @ 11:59PM PDT

    So which is it? Do we get points for spending or not?

    Earlier, the post was the usual one where they listed both charge ups and boutique purchases, then it was edited to say no leave-spending. I'm guessing they just forgot to edit that one line.

    I'm confused and it could be because I'm tired... you want the typo fixed but you don't want even a ninja edit isn't fixing the typo an edit?

    We'll get that one remaining line removed. Thought we got them all earlier today.

    Prices of items in the Charge store have been reduced beyond a straight 50% off to offset the loss of spend points as best we can.

    Probably saying he want point for spending since it still say it would (well 1 of 3 place say you will get pts).

    You're right Jam, that is exactly what I'm saying.

    I charged enough to get the gem that I wanted as soon as the charge rewards was announced by a guildie in my gchat, before the news post was edited saying that we didn't get points for spending.

    This is the first time I've charged that much in a LONG time, thinking this was such a great deal then you go and change it after I've already spent my money.

    Does that seem fair?

    I always caution a "good deal", so I bought one Attack Assist Potion to try out, sadly cannot spend rest of my leaf to get V gem this time ;( Hopefully they get enough CSers funding this time for FW2 ;p

    o, nevermind then, I couldn't find that part anywhere so I assumed $1 = 40 points :D
