Operating System: Windows 7 32bit
Type of Crash: Crash to desktop with error report, and Crash to Desktop with "Cannot Load game Data" Error
Action performed when crash occurred:
Type 3 (Crash to Desktop with "Cannot Loas game Data": Map load when teleporting into the Guild Base (the most common! happens 1-2 times a day), and map load when teleporting into an instance.
Type 2 (Crash to Desktop with error report): Opening Auction House interface, and map load when teleporting.
Notes: I'm playing through Steam and it helps a lot. Before that, I had 6-7 crashes a day. -
Would be so cool if this got fixed.....
Happened to me a LOOOOT of times before, then there was a lengthy break and then it came back
The crashes occurred while I was teleing into arena a lot of times... :S
However, this time:
Operating System:Windows 7 64 - bit
Type of Crash: Crash to desktop with error report (the traffic lights) [ u can never successfully submit the crash report]
Action performed when crash occurred: I was on my mount, accepted Henry quests and luck quests and was auto-pathing in FH.
EDIT: Now this is freaky. I post here, I log into the game, I click to mount and.... THE GAME CRASHES. Never been THAT bad...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] -
Will update with any more future crashes or errors.
Operating System: Window 7, 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash with "Can not load game data, please verify" Error
Action performed when crash occurred: Crash when the loading bar is halfway teleporting to instances or to another area like the Guild Base. If I want to join an instance I have to restart my client and leave Freedom Harbour to reduce the chance of getting this error; occasionally happens when just auto-routing through FH.
UPDATE: I got this error today immediately after logging in.
Operating System: Window 7, 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash with "Building Load" Error
Action performed when crash occurred: When teleporting to a different area, usually only happens when in Freedom Harbour but occasionally elsewhere like the Dwarf starter area or at Fort Rotulor. Sometimes it will cause me to fall through the floor meaning when I restart I have to use my teleport skill to get back on the ground.
UPDATE: After leaving my character in AFK training overnight, I returned to see that other characters appeared invisible. Immediately after teleporting out of the area I received this error.
Operating System: Window 7, 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash to Desktop with Error Report
Action performed when crash occurred: When attempting to type in the Auction House search bar and teleporting.
UPDATE: Every now and then after teleporting to different areas the auto-route system will not work and this will happen before I crash with an error report:
NOTE: I have verified 3 separate times and re-downloaded the client but the problem is not resolved.
I recently returned after a years hiatus and used to have a desktop computer with the exact same operating system I have on this brand new laptop. I never once had issues with crashing or error bugs on the desktop and my laptop is powerful enough to run recent games with high end graphics. -
Operating System: Windows Vista 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash to Desktop with Error Report
Action performed when crash occurred: After a period of time, would crash ... when entering an instance, teleporting or using the auction house. -
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Type of Crash: Cannot load game data error, Crash to desktop with error report
Action Preformed: Map loading when teleporting<"Its not a success unless someone fails">
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] -
Operating System: Windows 7 64bit
Type of Crash: Cannot load game data error, Crash to desktop with error report
Action performed when crash occurred: Usually happens after switching maps, searching in ah, or when clicking "charge" in the boutique. -
Operating System: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash to desktop, no error
Action performed when crash occurred: Typing a character into the auction house search box.
I can reproduce this crash regularly. If my client has been open for more than about an hour, typing something (anything) into the AH search box will cause a crash to desktop with no error. Only the text box is affected. I can use the level range boxes and the item rarity drop-down. I can also enter things into the search box by shift+clicking on an inventory item then searching. The only thing that causes the crash is selecting the text box and attempting to type in any character. The instant I press a key with the cursor in the text box the client crashes out. Following a client restart the AH behaves normally for the first hour or so (I honestly have no idea exactly how long I have to leave the client, but it's got to be at least an hour). Much longer than that and there's a 90% likelihood the client will crash out without an error. -
Operating System : Windows 7 - 64 bits
Type of Crash :
(a) Cannot Load Game Data (Client closing to desktop upon clicking that pop up)
(b) Game Crashing and exiting to desktop with Bug Reports windows
(c) Game just closing to desktop with no bug report or anything
Action(s) Performed when crashing (most of the time) :
(a) Entering / Exiting an instance or Guild Base. When logging a character.
(b) Loading to a new map, talking to an NPC or sometimes doing NOTHING at all just sitting there.
(c) see (b).
Additionally :
- Same problems occurred on previous computer with OS = Vista 32 bits.
- "Building Loading Error, the game will exit (etc etc)" which i would get in instances such as Fort Khoaway (which in this case the towers would be gone and instead appear gigantic ERROR in red 3D letters) OR when this would happen randomly in Guild Base or on regular map then when i talk to an NPC or open my map the background of the window would just pretty much be gone and elements missing. This happens randomly then game closes.
- Other problems upon relog or switching toon : character selection page of the account being EMPTY, or getting message "User doesn't exist".
***Computer virus free -check- game client verified -check- client re-installed -check-***
So hopefully that will be any help. -
Operating System: Windows 7 64b
Type of Crash: Crash to desktop with error report.
Action performed when crash occurred: Usually idling or randomly while running through town. One time it happened I had logged on, went elsewhere in my house for a minute, came back and my client had crashed.
--
Operating System: Windows 7 64b
Type of Crash: "Cannot load game data"
Action performed when crash occurred: Teleporting. I can usually reproduce this crash by *turning my graphics up* and teleporting to guild base, to FH, or into an instance. I usually have my graphics down so I don't crash. With my graphics down, I have not gotten this error once. Crash logs also tell me that there was an error with certain HD textures loading. -
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash to Desktop with error report (the stoplight thing)
Action performed when crash occurred: Checking Auction House
Already had it happen I got 4 crashes like this right after each other and I hadn't even moved yet in game.

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Type of Crash: -Crash to desktop with error report
- Cannot Load Game Data
Action performed when crash occurred: Teleporting, Hell road, near water, searching in auction house, constant movement, massive pvp.
Note: i cant see some people, i know they are there because of their pet but i can't see them. -
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Type of Crash: Crash to Desktop with error report (the stoplight thing)
Action performed when crash occurred: Walking in Freedom Harbor or when I'm in an instance and I die, when I try to resurrect I end up with the error report. -
I am having the same trouble as others here....DC with error Dc from server. Today I can not even log in. I started a new account and am able to get past the Connecting to Server message where my other account stalls out. I am able to get into game with the new account.

I know this isnt by the format, but it may be useful information. I have found a work-around for the "Cannot load game data" crash that seems to work.
OS: Windows 7, 64-bit (I dont own so i havent tested this on other OS's)
Every time I am going to enter an instance, or enter/exit my a base (the times that this error happens) I hit control-alt-delete to back out to the blue screen user panel, then it press [cancel] or hit the escape key to come back into my normal desktop/game. I've had my task manager open and when I do this, the game (game.exe) memory jumps downward from about 1.5GB of memory usage to around 1.1GB. I then accept the instance entry or enter the base and never crash. I have to do this EVERY time however, as this memory leak fills up to 1.5GB again rather quickly.
I figure this data could help you examine why the crashes are happening, since this apparent memory flush seems to prevent it. -
