    I agree. The last person I saw offering that sort of deal had to close it down because he had so many users, it was eating all of his bandwidth.

    It's easy to have a spare PC running a Vent server to save your CPU getting overloaded when you play your own games, but remember that it's your internet bandwidth that gets clobbered too. Trust me, it doesn't take that many Vent users to make short work of even a 50meg home internet connection, (remember that your upload speed isn't anywhere near that fast either).

    You must be very luck to have trolls avoid you or you're block / filter list is rather large. If your net connection can handle it, more power to you and maybe share so I can get rid of my provider.

    I think you must be getting mixed up with something else :D I dont have to be on my server for it to run. Actually I'm hardly ever on these days.

    Trolls are easily avoided by people using private channels. If there is still a problem, they are welcome to email me or message me when I'm online. I currently have no one blocked. Details on MotD when you log on.
