Suggestion: Zone Chat

So far in this game I have seen a few quests that make getting into a party with unknown people a benificial thing. The problem is at this moment the only way to advertise is through world chat. Once the game goes live, only people who have spent RL money will be able to afford to use world chat. My suggestion is a smaller range Zone Chat that would be free.

Most Free to Play games have a zone chat which is free and a world chat that costs RL currency. The zone chat could be set to only the current full zone you are in, or even a wide area around you like /shout from a lot of pay to play games.

Please feel free to post your opinions on this matter in a civilized fashion; No flame wars please.

    Should probably be in Suggestions, but this is still a really good idea.

    Although the party issue could be remedied by joining an active guild, this would still be nice since people could still hold conversations without having to stop everything else and new people could ask for help without having to use that one (I only found one anyway) free flute.

    Generally get two flutes from henry per 10 completions. Plus you can buy them with soulgold.

    I agree this game definitely needs a zone chat,what is so hard about doing this??

    You only get 1 World Flute for the first 10 Henry quests. If you are referring to the item Clear Dew, run across the rotating wheel near Tower Push Town or swim across the River Isish. It drops from the lizards and or the Iguana looking like monsters.

    :mad:zone chat is unnecessary. it'd just be one more distracting color scrolling in the chat window

    i've seen merchants sell flute for 50 silver soul coins
    henry gives you 1 per day (as stated above)

    or

    join a guild
    chat nearby

    it ain't that hard to find a party
    there are 10's of 1000's of ppl on this game
